I have dance training in ballet, modern, and jazz. In addition to concert dance techniques, I have been committed to learning club styles, notably voguing from ballroom culture over the last ten years. Drawing on my expansive movement practice, my research emphasizes embodiment, affect, and sensation as central to aesthetic interpretation.

A woman performing a dance move on stage, kneeling with one arm raised and the other bent at her side, wearing a patterned top, shorts, and sneakers, with a large projection screen in the background displaying text and a video preview.
People engaging in an artistic or theatrical performance or activity in a modern, minimalistic indoor space. One person is lying on a box, with their legs raised and extended, while another person is lying on the floor nearby, supporting themselves with one arm and wearing glasses.
